Wayne was one of the good ones. Whenever you saw Wayne he always had that big smile on his face and gave you a hug. I remember when they all worked together, they would play tricks on each other and laugh and he had such a contagious laugh. He was so kind and caring of others whether he knew you or not. His passing is so sad, and he will truly be missed by many. Hold onto all your memories of him.
This is a little too hard to write because there are so many stories and memories. Wayne was a true friend to anyone who knew him, he would give you the shirt off his back. He was always smiling, laughing and clowning. Once someone asked if he was Jean-Claude Van Damme (that went straight to his head) he said, “Lu, you think I look like him?” Yeah, Wayne you do! We always had fun with him, you knew you were in for a good time, laughing etc.. these memories take me back to a time when life was easier and we had no worries. I’m so sorry for your loss Jamie (my friend I miss you) and wish I could hug you right now. My heart aches for you and your family. But I want to end with a laugh let’s just say you were not safe with a glass table and Wayne around 🤣🤣🤣 if you know you know. Love Lu, (Lu Da Ball) as Wayne called me :)
Wayne was a regular face in my house in his younger days hanging out with my children. Such a sweet kid I remember his smile the most and how polite and respectful he always was. Prayers and condolences to his family 🙏🏻
I remember when I came home on leave from the Navy to celebrate my 21st bday. Wayne was there along with our usual high school crew. Whenever there was something going on, Wayne was there with all our friends from high school. Wayne had the biggest smile nearly always. He was always there when someone needed anything. Such a shock.
