Wayne's obituary
Wayne was born on July 11th 1936 to Lawrence and Frances VanEtten in Kingston Township, Michigan. In 1940 he was adopted by Kenneth Ruggles when he married Frances.
After graduation, he enlisted in the Army and spent 2 years serving in Germany. He was an aircraft mechanic and a sharpshooter with the carbine rifle achieving expert status.
He met Marilyn, and they wed in 1958, going on to have 3 children, Robert, James and Joseph.
He spent his career working at Chelsea Milling Co, "Jiffy Mixes", starting the tool room and rebuilding machinery for the company. He took a lot of pride in helping the company grow over the years he was there.
In retirement he enjoyed living in Florida and traveling the country. He had the pleasure of visiting all 50 states.
Wayne was predeceased by his wife Marilyn, son James and granddaughter Jessica . He is survived by his brother Reid (wife Carrol), sons Robert and Joseph (wife Kim) and grandchildren Sondra Bird, Katie and Joshua and 6 great grandkids.
As he requested there will not be a funeral however we may hold a private memorial at a later date.
