Wayne Alexander Mercer, 48 of Nineveh, IN passed away Monday October 2, 2022. He was born September 25, 1974 in Columbus, IN.

He had been a manufacturing inspector.

He enjoyed gold panning and was past president of the Central Indiana Gold Prospectors Association. Wayne also enjoyed gardening, animals and spending time with family.

Wayne was also an ordained minister.

Survivors include his daughter Shaelynn Mercer of St. Cloud, Florida, his mother Karen Kay (Bensheimer) Mercer of Nineveh, IN, his father James Arthur Mercer of Newport News, VA, his twin brother Samuel Robert Mercer of Covington, IN, a sister Brandi Michelle Bowling (Frank) of Indianapolis, IN, a niece Davina Anderson (Nash) of Nineveh, IN and a great niece Findley Anderson.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 1PM at Gatesville Country Store 4525 Salt Creek Road Nashville, IN 47448.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made for the benefit of his daughter Shaelynn.
