Wayne's obituary

Wayne Anthony Eldridge 61, of Spencer, Ma, entered into God's Kingdom on Jan 3,2022 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. After a short battle with Metastatic lung cancer.
Wayne was born March 12,1960 in Worcester, Ma. He leaves behind his father Ernest Eldridge Sr of Wareham, Ma to whom he was very close with. His mother June Karas (White) of Brookfield, Ma, His brother Ernest Eldridge Jr and his wife Victoria of Spencer, Ma, Sister Jean Joseph and half-sister Melody Spence. His daughter Amy Eldridge and two grandchildren Kyle and AJ. Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, best friend Faith Benoit and his dog Peanut.
From a young age Wayne lived with no fear, he has seen and done more than most do their lifetime. He loved to be on the road if he was able, he would have still been out exploring. He cherished his time spent with Faith, being her partner in cleaning jobs, long drives, or salvaging something he found for free. If you knew Wayne, he would never let a “free” pile pass! He would always find something for himself or someone he knew “Needed" it. Wayne was always willing to give a helping hand whether it was helping a friend in the garden or nursing an animal back to life. He looked forward to seeing his dad in the summer and sitting outside enjoying the old neighborhood. Wayne was very creative, he loved carving and decorating canes, crafts, dreamcatchers, and decorating his house. He had a love for Indian décor, history, camping, motorcycles, his dog peanut, and enjoying life.
The family would like to thank Marcy for the long talks and always giving Comfort. Thank you to Hospice nurses for your loving care. Special thank you to his Niece Cristal Gallant and his best friend Faith for taking special care of Wayne and making it possible for him to have his wish of his last days in his home.
Wayne requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. Family will announce later (Spring). In the lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne’s name to American Lung Association and St. Jude’s Children’s hospital
