On Thursday December 22,2022 the Mahnke family lost their dad  WAYNE EDWARD MAHNKE at the age of 86. 

      Wayne was born in Milwaukee on June 1st, 1936. Wayne will be remembered by many as a fun, outgoing, social caring BIG hearted man.  He loved being with family and friends. A hard working man, loved sports, in his younger years was an outstanding pitcher. He loved all kinds of projects and many there were. A regular old handy man.  wayne was a machinist, restaurant owner/bartender/cook, and security guard.  Wayne and Mary Ann retired to Florida in St. Petersburg and enjoyed many family visits and the beach. His love for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Brewers and Badgers stayed strong and faithful.

     Wayne was processed in death by sister Carol Lee Mahnke, father Walter F. Mahnke Sr, mother Adeline B. mahnke (Scherbarth) and brother Walter E. Mahnke Jr.

      Wayne is survived by Mary Ann Mahnke and their 5 children, Jeffrey Mahnke, Dawn Jordan (Mahnke) (Bob), Lori Krupelak (Mahnke) (Greg) Daniel Mahnke, and Nicole Faulstich (Mahnke), 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

     Wayne, (“Warner”, Dad, Gramps, Grandpa) will truly be missed and never forgotten by many friends and family. But a smile, a laugh, a story and a cheer will keep him present all the rest of our years.

      Wayne ,(Dad) will be cremated and a future celebration of life date will be on MARCH 22, 2023  from 1:00pm - 3:00 pm at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK located at 13235 WEST CAPITAL DRIVE IN BROOKFIELD.

        IN Lieu of flowers Mary Ann and family are requesting any wished contributions go to St. Jude’s Research.
