My deepest condolences regarding the loss of your Dad, Husband, Wayne. I apologize for the tardiness of these condolences. I resenting learned of the loss of Wayne through Wayne’s sister Jodi.
Wayne was a great childhood friend that I regret losing track of after high school. Wayne and I go way back to our days on Head of the Meadow Rd and the hundreds of pickup baseball games played in Roudolf ‘s field. Wayne also joined my parents and I on vacation camping at Sabago Lake ; We commuted back and forth to Fairfield Prep and we’re on the Fairfield Prep track team together.
Prior to COVID, Wayne and I reconnected through another Head of the Meadow friend, Alan Reed. We talked about our families and our lives since High School.?Unfortunately, we never got to reunited face to face.
Wayne will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace.

I still have Wayne's phone number in my Favorites on my phone. Somehow I manage to accidentally "b-dial" him about once a quarter. So far no answer (but I'll keep trying).

I was one of the many lucky people to cross paths with Wayno in his professional life. He was always cheerful, amiable, generous and genuinely interested in his colleagues' personal lives, while sharing the big events in his life in return. One of the many places we crossed paths is at the GOMAC conference which starts tomorrow. I always looked forward to seeing Wayne there, and not only for collaborating on masks and Trusted microelectronics but also for the fellowship and storytelling that he was always so good at. We will raise a glass to him tonight in honor of his birthday and share some of our own stories of how Wayne touched our lives. We miss you, Buddy!

I just learned of Wayne’s passing and felt crushed. He was a very special person and one I felt close to although we lost touch long ago. I will always remember him laughing, telling stories and pulling pranks. Playing golf with him and Sue, my bag would always fall off the cart when I drove away. It happened about three times before I saw he and Sue laughing. I figured it out that Wayne had struck!
There are so many stories and so many great memories. I am a true believer that our souls ascend to a higher place. I am sure that Wayne is entertaining all who preceded him in passing.
Sue and family, please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss even though it’s a year late. I can tell by all the tributes that my judgement of his character was spot on. He will forever be missed. RIP Wayno.
