Wayne Dewit Castor was born on his Mom's birthday, October 2, 1950 to Clarence and Louise Castor. He was welcomed to the family farm in Conway Springs Kansas by his 3 older brothers. The family spent a number or years on the farm before moving to Denver, Colorado where they began a new venture Castor's Mini Mart, a small neighborhood convenience store. In 1970, following Clarence's death, the remaining family members moved back to Kansas. Wayne wed the love of his life Valorie February 8, 1974. They raised 3 children, Dennis, Jeffrey,  and Amie. From the 3 children they were blessed with 4 grandchildren. Wayne was an avid Studebaker fan.  He had a great passion for restoring them to the original unique model.  Wayne died peacfully in his sleep in his home in Cheney, Kansas April 16, 2025. Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents, Clarence, Louise, and oldest brother Frank. He leaves behind his wife, Valorie, children, Dennis (Barbie) Jeff, and Amie , 4 grandchildren Sean, Ashley,  Olivia, and Meadow, Brothers Tom (Marti), Joe (Merry), sister Susanne, many niece's, nephews great niece's, and great nephews, and many friends. Services will be held at Cheney Methodist Church, Cheney, KS April 29, 2025 at 10am, burial at Vinita Cemetery, Cheney KS, with luncheon immediately following Graveside at Cheney Methodist Church
