It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Bruce Wagner, a cherished husband, father, step-father, brother, and grandfather . Born on August 5th, 1962, Wayne lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and unyielding optimism. He peacefully left this world on February 7th, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Wayne's wife, Laura Wagner, survives him, sharing a love story that will never end. Also surviving him are his children, Steven Wagner, Sarah Gallagher, Ethan Wagner, Jeremiah Wagner; his step-children, Graham Nielsen, Madeline Nielsen, Payton Nielsen, Jackson Nielsen, Georgia Nielsen, Maryl Nielsen, and Brynn Nielsen. Wayne is also survived by his brothers David Wagner and Michael Hahn, his sister, Tina Nohe, and his uncle, Don Ford. His mother, Ardell Wagner, predeceased him. His father, Richard Wagner predeceased him.
Wayne's life legacy will always be his faith, a beacon of strength that guided him throughout his life. He held a forever optimistic approach to life, a trait that he imparted to those around him, making every day a chance to embrace positivity.
His final moments were spent enveloped in love, surrounded by his beloved wife Laura, his son Jeremiah, and step-daughters Madeline, Payton, Georgia, and Maryl. The love and warmth in that room are testament to the life he lived and the people whose lives he touched and enriched.
Wayne has left us with a legacy of love, strength, and faith that will continue to inspire and guide us all. His memory will forever be enshrined in our hearts.
