Wanetta Floy Stabenow, "Nita", loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who knew her, peacefully entered her eternal rest at the age of 81 at dawn on September 5, 2022.

Nita was born to Floyd and Meriel (Stutzman) Stauffer, the third of five children, on October 12, 1940, and grew up on a farm near Milford, Nebraska. She attended country school as a child and graduated from Milford High School …
