I mourn the loss of my beautiful titi. She was a protector and a force to be reckoned with. When I was a kid, staying with her was always an adventure—her home was filled with love, laughter, and a sense of security that only she could provide.

She was tough as nails and didn’t hesitate to stand up for the people she cared about, especially my mom, her daughter, my brother, and me. She had this incredible way of being both fierce and loving, and though she could be a little scary at times, it was always because she wanted the best for us.

I will always treasure the memories of our summer shopping trips as a kid—how we’d spend hours going from store to store until I could barely keep up. Those moments were sometimes exhausting, but they were also some of the best times I had as a kid.

She was loved by many including her husband who truly loved her and took very good care of her like no other till the very end. Thank you Tío Juan (aka Junito). She was my favorite auntie and I will forever treasure my memories with her. She was a beautiful person and I will carry her love and lessons with me forever. Rest in peace, Titi Wanda. You’ll always be in my heart.
