Walt's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Walter Paul Fox (Walt), who left this world on January 20, 2025. He was 64 years old.
Born on November 12, 1960, in Feasterville, PA, Walt was the son of Charles and Ida Fox. He proudly graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1978. He was a dedicated U.S. Postal Service Worker, persevering through rain, sleet, snow, and summer heat. Walt began his career at the Frankford Post Office, eventually retiring from the Bustleton Station. Throughout his 35 years of service, he built lifelong relationships. He was known to carry dog biscuits, always ready to share a treat with the four-legged friends he’d made along his route.
Walt was a man of many passions—he dedicated much of his life to hunting, fishing, and avidly collecting sports memorabilia. He also had a deep love for music. In his younger years, he was part of a band named Friction, where he showcased his gifts for music. Walt knew how to play a variety of instruments, including the guitar, piano, and even the accordion. He found joy in listening to his favorite tunes and sharing his passion with those around him.
In addition to his many talents, Walt was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was a Free Mason, upholding the values of brotherhood, charity, and integrity throughout his life.
Walt was loving, kind, and hardworking. He touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a wonderful father and a cherished friend. His wisdom, sense of humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his children Victoria, her fiancé Kyle, Nichole, her husband Alex, and his son Kevin. He was the loving pop-pop of his granddaughter Anastasia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida Fox.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at 12 Noon until 4pm at Founding Fathers Sports Bar and Grill
2900 Street Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Walt’s Memorial Bench.
We take comfort in knowing that Walt is now at peace, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
