Walter's obituary
Walter was born on January 28, 1949 to Amy (Lightbown) and Walter Bronson. He grew up in Morris Township, NJ, and resided in Florida and Indiana before moving to Southern Pines, N.C.
As a brilliant and ambitious engineer, Walter enjoyed taking on challenges and designing innovative solutions both at work and at home. He had a passion for cars, particularly vintage race cars. However, his main focus in life was his cherished wife and daughters whom he loved with all of his heart. Through his sincerity, selflessness and courage he showed his unwavering devotion to his family. He will be forever remembered as the rock that his family leaned upon.
Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Gloriann Pugliese Bronson; his children, Stefanie Bronson and Kimberly Cerretti (Richard); his grandchildren, Gabrielle and Samuel; and his sister, Margot Risberg.
A farewell gathering in memory of Walter will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2-5 PM at the home of Peter Pugliese (40 Johnson Drive, Chatham, NJ). To honor Walter's memory, a commemorative bench will be placed in a park near his childhood home in Morris County. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Morris Park Alliance to the fund in Walter's name.
