Ron's obituary
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Wallace "Ron" Parker, Jr., who left this world on October 15, 2025. Ron, born in 1964, was a man who carried a heart full of love, laughter, and profound wisdom. He will be forever remembered by his daughter, Christy Wilson, and sons Joshua, Logan, and Cody Parker, three granddaughters, along with countless friends and family members whose lives he touched.
Ron lived his life with a unique blend of wit and humor that always managed to brighten the room. His caring nature and eagerness to lend a hand marked him as a pillar of support for many. With a philosophy of "anything, anytime," he had a special knack for fixing things, bringing forth solutions in the most unconventional, 'redneck' manner.
Among his noteworthy accomplishments, Ron served six years in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer. Afterward, he continued using his skills as a HVAC Technician for 36 years. This service, like many aspects of his life, was testament to his dedication, discipline, and resolute character. Ron's legacy is one of service and inspirational spirit which will forever resonate with those who knew him.
While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the life of this extraordinary individual. A burial service for Ron will be held on November 7, 2025, at 11 AM at the Elko Cemetery. It will be an occasion to honor his memory and to continue his legacy of kindness and service to others.
Although he is no longer physically with us, his spirit lives on. Ron will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and the memories he created will continue to bring smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts.
