Background
One of Waldek's biggest passions was tennis. In tennis, he found community and was able to appease his competitive, playful spirit. Tennis provided him an opportunity for fitness, challenge, camaraderie.
He hoped to teach young people tennis after his retirement and would have liked to ensure that youth from all walks of life had access to the sport.
