To Jayde, Chrystal, and the entire Jefferson family,

My heart is heavy as I send my deepest condolences for the passing of Von Jefferson. Von was more than just a good man—he was a constant presence of kindness, always checking in on me, my parents, and our family with genuine care and warmth. We grew beyond just being neighbors, and became family. His spirit was generous, his heart sincere, and his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched. He used to grill me every time I came over to see Jayde, and would never live down the question, “You ever seen ‘Love & Basketball’?” 

Von’s absence leaves a space that words can’t fill, but his memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength. May you find peace in knowing how deeply he was loved and respected, and may God surround you with grace and healing during this time.

He will be greatly missed—but never forgotten.

Our family sends our love to you all, and will be here when you need a hug or a shoulder to lean on.

RIP my new friend... I only new Von for a short time I met him through his brother Melvin Knox... Von was a No nonsense speak his mind good person.... My sincere condolences to the family.
