We announce with heavy hearts the passing in Toronto of our parents, Marijana on 25 August 2024, two weeks after Vojin (11 August 2024), almost exactly to the hour. A truly “Yugoslav” couple – Vojin was Serbian , Marijana was Croatian – they married in Split, Croatia in 1963. Vojin immigrated to Montreal in 1969, followed by Marijana and their daughter, Aleksandra, in 1970. The family, expanded …

Thank you so much to everyone visiting this page. Because our parents passed within two short weeks of one another, we chose to create a joint obituary as well as a joint Celebration of Life. After 61 years of marriage, they were inseparable in life and death.

Update from April 6, 2025

Dear Friends and Family, my brother and I wanted to let you know that we are heading to Croatia in June to inter our parents ashes in the family plot on Iž. I will be heading there a few days ahead of Miloš who will be arriving on June 26th. If you happen to be in the vicinity and wish to join us, please let me know and I can send more details.
