With utmost respect to the Trethewey family for the recent death of their incredible mother Vivian.  I only knew her for a few short years but we certainly hit off during several visits to her home.  She was interesting, exciting, and definitely a spirit in her own way.  I absolutely adored her kindness and big smile.  Raspberry jam for ever, as she loaded a box to share with everyone at my office.  Thank you Vivian for these incredible moments.  Your star shines bright in the sky every night!
We are so sorry to hear of Vivian’s passing. What a legacy she has left us in Abbotsford. A kind soul who gave with such generosity in so many ways.  Our thoughts are with her family - she so enjoyed sharing the photos and stories of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. May you find rest after so many of your labours of love, Vivian.
I am very sorry to hear of Vivian's passing.  What a dynamo, and a force for good in this world.  I have fond memories of visiting her and Alan.  The last time in 2000 when during our visit she graciously lent me her tennis racket for a game on their lovely home court.  She remains an inspiration to me (Michael Leslie Trethewey Cambray), my wife Sulwen, and our daughter Isabel.  Lots of love to all family.

My deepest condolences to Vivian's family. I hope that your many wonderful memories and strong family bonds sustain you through this difficult time.

Abbotsford has lost an icon, advocate, and inspiration. Vivian contributed so much to lifting others and to making the community a better place. Her, and Alan's, legacy lives on through the lives they touched and organizations they founded, nurtured and championed.
