Vivencio Laniog de la Cruz, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on October 18, 2022. Ven, as he was affectionately known, was a decorated veteran and proudly served 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. He continued serving his beloved country for another 20 years at the Navy Public Works Center in Oakland, California.
