Visith's obituary

Visith Saesim passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Kanokwan, his children, Danny (and Elena), Aimee (and Kristian) and Samuel and his seven grandchildren.

Visith loved golfing and shared this passion with his sons and daughter-in-law.  He would go out on the greens just about as often as he could, spending hours putting or chipping.  He also enjoyed riding his e-bike up and down the streets of Loma Linda.  With his safety lights and bright jacket, it was hard to miss him.  But most of all, he loved talking about Jesus.  Over the last several years, he invested much of his time and energy and resources into a YouTube ministry, where he would unpack a Sabbath School lesson or give a short devotional in three languages - English, Thai and Chinese.   He lived by the adage, "If this can reach just one..."

Visith did all of those things up until just a few months ago, when he became ill.  Even at the end, he held tightly to his faith and often quoted Philippians 1:21 -- "But for me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
