How you can help

In May 2023, Vishnu was excited to visit his sons, Joshua and Jonathan, and to see his daughter Juily, the youngest, graduate from Western Carolina University. He arrived in Charlotte, NC, and was enjoying time with his sons. However, just days before the graduation, Vishnu suffered a brain aneurysm and was suddenly on life support in the hospital. Over the next 4 months, there were many ups and downs, but ultimately there were too many things to overcome. Vishnu passed away peacefully on the morning of September 11, 2023, surrounded by his children and his former wife, Benita. Donations will be used to help them cover their personal expenses associated with caring for Vishnu and for Vishnu's final expenses.

Vishnu was a follower of God. Vishnu was born on October 23, 1954, in Trinidad and Tobago. He was proud to be Trinidadian and it was a proud day when he also became a naturalized U.S. citizen. He was led to the Lord Jesus Christ by missionaries in Trinidad when he was in his early teens. He studied at Jamaica Bible College and later at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
