Virginia was born on May 6, 1928 in Van Zandt County, TX to parents Jerome and Vena (Long) Groom and entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2014 at the age of 86. Virginia was known as “Aunt Ginner” to her family. She graduated from Mabank High School in 1946. Virginia worked several years as a bookkeeper for her brothers business.
