Born January 25, 1922 to Hattie and August Wiehle. She married Francis Weiss on March 14, 1942.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Ross) Nelson of New Lenox and Barbara (Greg) Reynolds of Channahon.
Four grandchildren, Nick (Caroline) Nelson, Jill Nelson, Sean (Dallas) Ryan, Nathan (Monica) Reynolds. Seven great-grandchildren, Cailtin and Ross Nelson, Blake and Peyton Ryan, Lucas Ramirez, Noah and Marin Reynolds.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; daughter, Tina Dodds; and sister, Midlred Pellouchoud.
At her request, Virginia was cremated and a memorial service will be held on March 30th at 3:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church in New Lenox.
Memorials can be made to the church or the Joliet Hospice.
