This April 22, 2021, Viola took her final breath, surrounded by her loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed Viola on February 7, 1927, a day the world became a little brighter. Viola lived a full and warm life, filled with joy/happiness/kindness. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Viola is survived by daughters Carol Pearson ( Dean), Della Dorsey, and Valerie Tate. Son Jesse Tate. Viola is preceded in death by daughter Anita Littlejohn sisters Minnie Jefferies, Annie Goodwin, brothers Jesse Dawkins and Sammie Dawkins, Mother Ester Dawkins and Father Sammie Dawkins.. Memorial services will be held on April 24, 2021 at the home of daughter Carol Pearson, with only immediate family.
