As the publisher at Elsevier responsible for he journal in Colloids I want to share my (belated) deepest sympathies for the family and friends of Professor Gupta. Professor Gupta was an excellent researcher and published many outstanding articles in our journals. He was Advisory Board Member for a number of our international journals, a speaker at our conferences, and a regular reviewer. He will be missed by our Editors and the whole colloid community.

I remember Vinod as a facilitator of our leadership team. He supported everyone with such patience and passion. We had not met for a long time and I regret not being in touch. PrayTo God for his kind soul to rest with peace and for family to get strength to cope with the loss.

What makes Vinod Gupta Je different is the smile he carried in any situation. I met him first when I moved to NFC office in 1992 time period. He was always very approachable and explained things in a very simple manner. He mixed with all across different level with ease. That made him special and people man. We will miss him. OM SHANTI!!!
This is unbelievable. Vinod was so young, so full of energy. How can God be so cruel.
I met Vinod for the first time in 1996 when we came together in Modicorp. We were the founder members of the Modicorp Learning Institute, which did some phenomenal work for 6/7 years. It was my first formal intro to Quality, management development area and it was Vinod who taught me the basics, in his most unassuming ways. I shall always cherish the joint training programs / organisational interventions we did together for different clients. We developed such camaraderie and mutual respect for each other. Became friends at personal level. Both Lata and he used to regularly attend our annual holi and diwali bashes. When I came back from the Gulf in 2016, he was the first person I contacted for tips on setting up my Leadership practice. We sipped coffee for hours as he gave me ideas, leads and links. Shall never forget this.
Vinod, may your soul rest in eternal peace.
Vinod and I share a warm relationship. Along with Brij, he was part of our Learning Initiatives. He was such a disciplined person in everything.... extremely knowledgeable, and above all a wonderful human being. We connected few weeks back over LinkedIn... April 5th to be precise.. Never realised he would not be among us so soon....words can't express my grief. His memories will live for ever. Om Shanti.
Saddened to hear the news.. my prayers for strength and fortitude.
Vinod Gupta was one of my mentors and guide. Met him at Rubicon, in 2004. And since then, we remained connected. He made everything so simple and powerful. He always zapped others with energy. His teachings have been and will remain close to my heart.

Lata Ma'am, Manu, and Shalini - Wish you strength. He spoke very highly of all three of you and your extended family. Heartfelt Condolences to Brij Chandiramani too, both were really role model partners.
Dear Lata, Manu, Shalini, (and next-gen families),
Vinod was many things to each one of you. I wish all of you draw the courage and resilience from the myriad of memories you have of him.
Please reach out to me and my family for anything we can do for you.
I pray that the universe elements collude to give his soul peace and space to spiritually unfold.

Just like you all, It is with heavy heart that I have to accept that our dear Vinod is not with us. When Lata’s msg appeared on Rashmi’s WA and she conveyed to me about Vinod, I said it can’t be true.
But God had already played his design in his own peculiar ways.
Our deepest condolences to you all and pray that The ALMIGHTY GIVES YOU ALL THE COURAGE TO BEAR THIS HUGE PERSONAL LOSS.
YOU LOST Your father, Lata lost her husband and we the IIT Group lost a very very dear friend.
We will always cherish the time we spent with your parents in DELHI at various occasions.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
May GOD provide heavenly abode to our dear Vinod.
