Vince was an amazing person/grandson.  He would call his grandpa (Howard Sr) in WA state and visit with him via cell phone.  Vince always had a smile and a twinkle in his eyes.  He was easy to visit with and such a caring person.  So sorry to have lost him so early in his life.  May you rest in peace Vince.  ❤️❤️

Vince was our best man at our wedding on May 5, 1997 which was also his birthday!! What a great memory for us to share with Vince, family and friends! ❤❤

My condolences to Vince's family. I first met Vince when, him and my Aunt Chris got married, and we would often see him when he and my Aunt would come down for visits at my uncle Jerome’s house..  It was a great blessing knowing uncle Vince such a very sweet man.. he took amazing care of my aunt Chris through her time of need.. he was loved and will be truly missed..  this was a shock to read to say the least, very sad to see such a young vibrant soul leave so soon..  at least uncle Vince & aunt Chris can be reunited together now 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Sending love and prayers 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Aunt Dianne and Uncle Howard -- I just found out from Courtney that Vince died. I didn't know he was sick. She must have learned about it on FB which I rarely have time for these days. I am in such shock. And so sad. Strangely he crossed my mind a couple of weeks ago as I was driving -- just out of the blue. Not sure what made me think of him. I thought about what a nice cousin I knew him to be (even though we didn't spend much of our lives together) and how I hoped to see him again someday soon (as well as all you guys) and renew family acquaintances. I thought about his beautiful posts sharing his love for Chris. He had such a great heart and a great way of expressing himself. I am so sorry that I didn't reach out sooner. I know your hearts are broken. I feel the loss myself ... maybe I will finally be able to get away this summer and go see you guys ... you are all very special to me ... The post on his life was so beautiful ...
Howard and I were in utter shock when Buster called and said Vince had just passed.  Could hardly believe a grandson so young was taken away.  Vince was the most wonderful grandson so thoughtful to all he met, so faithful and easy to visit with because he knew how to listen. Had a marvelous memory, voice and beautiful caring wife, Chris, whom he took care of always.  May you Rest In Peace Vince knowing how much you are loved by all.

Buster, Diane, Gayle, Darrell and family - Uncle Jerry & I were so saddened when Dee called to tell us about Vince.  I remember many times when he, Buster & Darrell would come over to go water skiing when we lived on Lake Whatcom.  He always had a smile on his face.  When he & Christine came to the family campout weekend it meant a lot to us for them to travel so far to reconnect with family & offer to help with anything he could.   It doesn't matter so much about what a person can do.  It matters when a person shows how much they care about others.   Vince was that kind of person - a big heart, big smile and his love for others & his Faith.  You are in our prayers for peace & comfort.

Uncle Jerry & Lurline

I was saddened to hear of Vince’s passing. I knew him from high school, choir and of course Diane Moore (hammer). He was so kind and had the greatest smile. Glad I will get to see him again one day in heaven❤️
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Vince.

Aunt Dianne, Uncle Howard, Daryl and Gayle,

I know that you are all grieving our loss of Vince at this time, and that you are not alone.  Anyone who knew Vince loved Vince.  He left behind a ton of memories, and they all bring a smile to my face.  I will miss him along with you, and look forward to seeing him again someday, alongside of Christ.  We love you guys.

I was heartbroken when I heard about Vince.  I remember when he brought Chris to the Hammer reunion.  I loved them both at first sight.  Vince was one of the kindest men I have ever met.  I am so sorry for your loss.  He will be greatly missed.

My fondest memories of Vince.... He had a heart is gold and a smile to match. When I was little, he told me that I mattered when I thought I did not. He always had a kind word. He will forever be missed. I love you cousin ❤️

To be honest. Some of my cousins and I were separated by many miles most of our lives. In recent years, though, I was able to visit with Vince and Daryl and others.  I loved Chris, Vince’s wife. Vince would be able to visit with me some when I was in town and I enjoyed seeing some of the things he was working on.  It breaks my heart he was taken so fast. Mostly for his immediate family he has left behind. He was truly adventurous- I could definitely tell that about him. Peace be with his soul in the hands of our Lord.
