Sure do miss my best friend!  Vince was awesome at encouraging me and others especially in our walk with Jesus.
Vince - What a great friend. You will be sorely missed.
Vince immediately reached out to me when I first attended youth group at Temple Baptist Church. We became fast friends during our high school years. The last week of high school Vince, Craig Brooks and I were going to go to San Filipe in Mexico and camp on the beach for a couple of days. Craig ended up not going so it was Vince and me. We had a blast (lots of fireworks) on that deserted beach in 1971. Vince and I went off to Southwestern College the next fall. He was my most excellent roommate for that year.
Craig and I went off to Tennessee Temple in the fall of 72, but Vince and I wrote to each other periodically. I had fallen for Sunni Kitts at Southwestern but while at Temple, Vince wrote to me telling me to forget Sunni, she was engaged to another guy at Southwestern. That was on piece of advice that I did not take. Sunni and I have been married for 46 years!
After college, getting together was tough but when we did, it was like we'd never been apart. Vince was a great listener to my off beat ideas. He was always warm, inviting, inclusive and accepting. Seems to me that he was a lot like Jesus.
Thanks Vince for being my great friend for 52 years!! Dave White

Vince was such a wonderful godly man. He was a real blessing at Pine Summit Kids’ Summer Camp. We enjoyed his sharing of ministry and then in the snack shop, he could draw even shy kids into conversation. He’ll be sorely missed, but I’m happy he’s perfectly healthy now, enjoying our wonderful savior face to face. I’m sorry I can’t be there at the celebration of life but I’ve been exposed to a COVID case. God bless all of you with His amazing peace.
Vince was such a wonderful godly man. He was a huge blessing at our Pine Summit kids’ summer camp, sharing about his ministry and going beyond by sitting and talking with campers and counselors in the snack shop in the afternoons. He will be sorely missed, but I’m so happy he’s now enjoying face to face fellowship with our wonderful savior Jesus.
Gail, we didn't know everyone in your family, but we do know that Vince left behind a pretty cool wife and family. Love, Jerry & Platy
Praying for the family. Thanking God for your love for the Mexican people and the teaching that Vince gave so freely.
Our deepest condolences, we are praying for you and the family.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Pastor Vince. I met him 20 years or so ago when he and his family were based in the Philippines. I attended one of his creative Bible teaching classes held at the CBAP office and he and his family would attend our small local church back then. We reconnected via Facebook and during difficult times in my life when I would ask for prayers, Pastor Vince would always reply and send me encouraging words. I was deeply sad when I learned that he has passed away. He will be missed. All praise and glory to our Lord Jesus for His saving grace and assurance that He has brought Pastor Vince to his rightful home.
Gail and Family,
It was a joy to have experienced the Brotherhood while students at SWBTS. Vince was one of 5 unique men who shared an apartment together for a year who God used to shape and mold each other. It has also been a joy to follow your ministry through the years and a special gift to spend some time with you in person back in 2019. We pray God will comfort you with His presence during these days. We also pray God will comfort with the truth that Vicente is in the very presence of our Lord.
So sorry about Vince's homegoing. We all know where he is and he is not in pain or sick anymore. We will all see him again. He did a lot of great work for the Lord while he. Looks like you have some grandkids to keep you busy. God bless you and love and hugs!
Vince and Gail helped my family and I settle into Tecate by bringing us together with other brothers in the faith that spoke English. For us this was tremendous and so helpful for myswlf not knowing any spanish. Their gentleness and guidance with advice , biblical doctrine, and patience with my 2 little ones showed us the true service of a Christ follower. Their love for us was even seen by our children who love them just as we do. Vince and Gail will always be apart of "our family story".
I became friends with Vince and his family from the moment they came to First Baptist church in Fontana!
We had a great time working with the youth department and he always had good ideas and made it fun.
He had a great sense of humor and full of love for the Lord (his whole family did!)
The last time I saw him was at Loma Linda hospital where he had been getting treatment and I was there with my brother who also had cancer. Vince went over and prayed with him, which I greatly appreciated because my brother didn't know the Lord.
It was hard to keep from crying to see what he was going through and the battle ahead but he was full of Grace and hope, not just for him but my brother also.
He was a very special person and I loved him and his family.
All though he will be greatly missed I know we all will be together in heaven and will see each other again.
We are praying for you Gail and your family, this can't possibly be easy right now, but knowing you have the life of Christ in you, I know that He will never leave you and will always be there for you.
In him is where you will find peace.
Much love to you all!
May God’s Precious Grace And Mercy Continue To Surround Each Of You Daily In The Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ Our Lord And Saviour Amen And Amen 🙏🏾 from Norma Hughey-Blanc. My ❤️ Hurts And Rejoice With You That He’s Home In The Loving Arms Of Jesus! Amen 🙏🏾
We are so sorry for the loss of Vince. We always think of him whenever we think of Mexico. He was such an inspiring and godly servant. Gail, our deepest sorrow for all that you have been going through; knowing that he is healed and free from pain in the presence of Jesus doesn't lessen the loneliness here. We will be praying over you in the months to come. Love you all!
