Will miss you Vicki 😢. Vicki was my preceptor way back when I started at Kaiser. Amazing person, very kind and always active.
I met Vicki at Bible Study. We sat at the same table for several years. She was a great friend-always willing to listen, a good Bible Student, had fun at social gatherings. We prayed for Vicki every week for months. All of us expected her to get well.  Vicki also joined in the sewing group. She was a big help, always willing to learn new tasks. We are assured she is in Heaven now and would not come back even if she could. Yet, we miss her and feel sorry for ourselves that our friend is gone.

I met Vicki on our first day of nursing school…1968.  She looked  a little like a deer in the headlights, but then, we all looked like that.  Our friendship cemented and 50 plus years after graduation, we still held reunions with the rest of the 7th floor gang.  Our hearts are heavy with Vicki’s departure, but she was true to her faith and I have no doubt that she now is embraced in the arms of our Lord.

To Vicki’s family… God bless you with the peace of mind that your loved one is truly at rest in heaven.

Vicki…Knowing you was a gift and I’ll love you forever.

Jon and I shared so many wonderful  scuba diving adventures with Vicki and Jack over the years!  Vicki's enthusiasm for all-things-ocean was boundless and her sense of humor always gave an extra spark to any gathering of the Santa Monica Blue Fins.  We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the privilege of sharing our adventures with her.    Swim among the stars now, Vicki.

I am so sorry I will not be there to give everyone hugs, but I will be covering you in prayers.  Heaven gets sweeter and sweeter with each Saint God calls home before us.  It is sad for all of us who are left behind but I am grateful that Vicki is with our Lord and Savior in no more pain!   I will miss Vicki's words of encouragement she sent me over this past year when she found out she had Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  All the scriptures and worship songs she sent me will always be cherished, but besides the scriptures and songs, one other cherished memory I have is when she caught my bridal bouquet at Steve and my wedding.  It will be 50 years ago this November 1st.  I miss her but look forward to the day she will greet me in heaven with our Lord and Savior and our family.  May the Lord comfort you in your time of grief.  Love you all!
