Victoria's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victoria Plant on July 24, 2025. Born on June 29, 1967, Victoria left a profound impact on everyone who was graced by her warm presence. Selfless, caring and generous, she exhibited a sense of kindness that will forever serve as her enduring legacy.

Victoria was predeceased by her beloved father, Richard Davis, and her brother, Richard M Davis. She leaves behind her adoring husband Elwood Plant, her devoted mother Carol Witsberger, her supportive sister Jennifer Scorziello and her loving children Sean Davis, Patrick Imburgia, Noel Imburgia, and Heather Cassel. Victoria was a cherished grandmother to Shyla, Scarlette, Georgia and Francis Cassel.

A memorial service to celebrate Victoria's life will be held on August 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wilmington, Delaware. We invite all her loved ones to join as we honor and remember her.

Known for her love for steak with potatoes, moms pot roast and of course coffee, Victoria had an appreciation for simple pleasures in life. Her favorite music was Stevie Nicks, and she enjoyed watching TV shows like Bones and NCIS, and films like Coal Minors Daughter, Smoky and the Bandit, and John Wayne movies. A fan of board games, she loved to play Clue, Monopoly and UNO, and had a fondness for puzzles.

Victoria found joy in knitting and reading, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished the tranquility of the beach, her favorite vacation spot. She had a fondness for the color blue, which resembled her calming nature. Her life was a testament to her belief that life is too short to always be alone. We will always remember Victoria for her loving nature and her lesson to keep each other company.

In our hearts, Victoria will forever be the epitome of kindness and generosity, and her memory will continue to inspire us all. We mourn her untimely demise, yet celebrate the beautiful life she lived, full of love, warmth, and compassion. May she rest in peace.
