I remember growing up there was a coloring book that was always on the shelf , it had a picture of a Pig with an apple in its mouth it was colored so beautifully. I asked who colored this? Grandma said “Vicky , don’t color over it” and no one ever did I would look at it all the time and ask about Vicky until one day I was in 1st Grade they said Vicky ,George,Brian,Rachael and Baby Andrew were coming back to stay and I got so excited to finally see Aunt Vicky and My Cousins . After school I waited impatiently on the back of Big Jesse’s Blue Oldsmobile. Aunt Vicky and Andrew arrived first She gave Me big love felt hug , She was nicer and more loving then I could have ever imagined and even more talented then that picture I looked at every day for 5 Years . I couldn’t wait to Show Her the book and show Her no one colored over Her picture it took Her a minute to remember She even colored it , I thought She could teach Me how to color so good . I asked Her and She said “just practice baby “ I still don’t think I can color as beautifully as that picture was to this day . I miss My Beautiful , Loving,Caring ,Talented Aunt Vicky.

Sending deepest heartfelt condolences to all of Vickie’s wonderful children, her amazing grandchildren, her devoted sisters and brothers. Vickie was always a joy to be around, full of life - her frame of mind was always positive! Whenever Ozzie, Duke and I visited relatives in Manhattan - we would make it a point to spend some time with Vickie. We love each one of you. Keeping you in prayer as you grieve the loss of the beloved Victoria Wilhoite Brooks…🙏🏾
