Victor's obituary
Loving Memory of Victor Nesbeth June 11, 1947 – October 14, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Nesbeth, who left us peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the age of 78.
Victor was born on June 11, 1947, in Jamaica, where he spent most of his life as a devoted farmer and cattle raiser. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love for the land. His hands were always busy — planting, tending, providing — but his heart was always centered on his family.
For the past 42 years, Victor shared his life with his beloved wife, Collette. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. Their bond was one of true partnership — weathering every storm hand in hand, always finding joy in the simple moments they shared.
Five years ago, he moved his home to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Victor continued to create warmth and welcome for everyone who visited. His homemade roti and strong coffee became legendary among family and friends — small but loving gestures that made everyone feel cared for and at home.
Victor was a proud and devoted father to his daughters Kerry, Victoria, and Nicollette, and a deeply cherished grandfather to Jayden, Essien, Jada, Mateo, Nyla, and Cassian. His family was his greatest joy and his life’s purpose. Everything he did was for them.
He loved westerns, country music, and telling stories of an adventurous past. He had a gentle wisdom, a kind heart, and a laugh that made everyone around him feel at ease.
Victor leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and generosity — values he lived every single day. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved, in the family he raised, and in the countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may the love he gave so freely continue to guide us all.
