It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Victor Manuel Maldonado affectionately known as Popeye. After a valiant medical battle he departed from this world peacefully on May 24, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Popeye was the joyful light in our lives, whose carefree attitude, silliness, and unwavering loyalty touched the hearts of all who knew him. His departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but his memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
As we make arrangements to properly celebrate Popeye’s life, we also aim to support his family during this difficult time. Your contribution to this fundraiser will help alleviate the financial burden of funeral expenses, allowing us to focus on honoring and remembering Popeye. Every contribution, big or small, is deeply appreciated and will make a difference.
Together, lets ensure that Popeye is honored with dignity, love and above all else happiness and laughter, because that is what he would have desired.

Con gran pesar en nuestro corazon compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestro amado hijo, hermano y tío, Víctor Manuel Maldonado, conocido cariñosamente como Popeye. Luego de una valiente batalla médica partió de este mundo pacíficamente el 24 de mayo de 2024, rodeado del amor de su familia.
Popeye fue la luz y alegria en nuestras vidas, su actitud despreocupada, tontería y lealtad inquebrantable tocaron los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron. Su partida deja un vacío irreemplazable, pero su recuerdo quedará para siempre en nuestros corazones.
Mientras hacemos arreglos para celebrar adecuadamente la vida de Popeye, también pretendemos apoyar a su madre y familia durante este momento difícil. Su contribución a esta recaudación de fondos ayudará a aliviar la carga financiera de los gastos funerarios, permitiéndonos centrarnos en honrar y recordar a Popeye.
