Victor Ensz Jr. (1938–2024): A Life Remembered
Victor Ensz Jr., born on May 13th, 1938, to Gudrun and Victor Ensz, passed away on May 5th, 2024, at his home in Arlington due to natural causes. His life was marked by service, faith, and a deep connection to his community.
Victor attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle before joining the Navy, where he became a skilled pilot. After his military service, he pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington. Victor’s commitment to public service led him to join the Seattle Police Department, where he served with dedication until his retirement in 1985.
Victor was preceded in death by his mother, Gudrun, his father, Victor, his sister, Charlotte, and his nephews, Matthew, Mark, and Charles. He is survived by his niece, nephews, and great nieces and nephew, who will cherish his memory.
Victor’s strong faith and philosophical outlook shaped his life. For 85 years, he was an active member of the Lutheran Church, where he found community and purpose.
In his later years, Victor resided in Arlington, finding solace in the company of his loyal dog, Harley. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the faith he held dear.

Services will he held at Tahoma National Cemetery on June 11th, 2024 at
11:15 Am.
