Vicky Lynn Brecht was born on November 4, 1956 in Kaiserslautern, Germany to Herbert and Bertha Adams. She grew up with her parents and siblings, Roxann, Sheilah, Randy, and Shannon, crisscrossing states as an army family, with West Bend, Iowa as their home base.
Vicky was fun loving. In high school, she skydived out of a helicopter and joked that she could wallpaper the school gym with her absence slips from skipping school.
