Our beloved Vickie Faye White entered into God’s Kingdom on January 27, 2023, after a short battle with pneumonia.

Vickie married William “Bill” Clark White, on March 23, 2000, and he survives her, along with her stepson, Taylor and Rachael White, brothers John Godkin and Frank and Lynnette Godkin, and her perfectly named cat, Precious.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Johnnie Belle Godkin, and her brother, Michael Godkin.

Vickie was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on November 5, 1948. She graduated from Mesquite High School in 1966, afterwards continuing her studies at the University of North Texas. Vickie began work at American Airlines in 1984, and retired in 2003 as an International Reservations Agent. She enjoyed many concerts, vacations, and cruises with family and friends. Vickie worshipped at Gateway Church in North Richland Hills, Texas. She enjoyed many activities at the local senior center, including jewelry-making, ceramics, and other crafts, and visiting museums, as well as spending time with cherished friends Sherry Prine and Linda Groth. Vickie had an amazing collection of angels and was a big fan of Cracker Barrel and Elvis!
