It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vickie Senn, a remarkable woman cherished by all those around her. Vickie was born on February 19, 1960, and departed this life on October 1, 2024. In the years that spanned her life, Vickie touched the lives of many with her smart, outgoing personality and her love for music, particularly bands like Shine Down and Godsmack. She was a rock and roll enthusiast and her passion for the genre was anything but hidden. Vickie was a proud alumnus of Aiken Technical College on Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC, graduating in 1989. Her thirst for knowledge and a drive to better herself was an inspiration to those who knew her. A loyal supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks, her enthusiasm on game days could light up any room. Vickie's favorite color, yellow, embodied her bright and warm spirit that will be dearly missed. Her favorite refreshment was a chilled Diet Pepsi which she enjoyed on quiet afternoons reflecting on the day. She was a woman who loved her family. Vickie is survived by her beloved children, April Murphy, Chris Filyaw, and Cory Filyaw; her treasured grandchildren, Britteni Filyaw, Abigail Filyaw, Vincent Filyaw, Erica Murphy, Austin Murphy, Hailey Murphy, Sasha Filyaw, Jacen Filyaw, Phoenix Filyaw, Madison Filyaw, and Jaden Filyaw; her adoring mother, Carolyn Bolin and her loving sisters, Debbie Harris and Linda Harmon, and several Nieces and Nephews. She joins her father, Ernest Bolin and granddaughter Autumn , in heaven, holding onto the love and cherished memories they shared while on this earth. Those who knew Vickie will remember her for the love she had for her children and grandchildren, her unwavering support for her favorite sports team, and her outgoing and smart personality. She left a lasting impression that will be remembered by her loved ones and everyone she met.
