The Kearney Family send our condolences in the lost of our Precious Vickie. She cared for my mother-in-law, Ms. Bessie Kearney, at Mike's Place and loved her dearly! She was one of a kind and we are grateful to have known such an angel. May God strengthen the family of Ms. Vickie.

Sending condolences to Vickie's family. Vickie was always at Mike's Place wearing a smile and supporting and encouraging everyone. She was such a wonderful, caring soul who also had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.

2017, Meals on Wheels Central Texas, East 5th Street, Austin, TX, USA
Vickie was a loving member of the Mike's Place family, she was an inspiration to our high school interns who were spending the summer engaging with the participants at Mike's Place. Vickie was an integral part of the program and it was her suggested name that was chosen for the garden. I will miss her calling me "Miss Theresa"

To Daniel, Jessica, Mary, and Christopher, I will be praying for you. Vickie was my childhood friend and I was also in her wedding to your dad. Vickie and I kept in touch over the years, and would visit me when she came home to Beaumont to check her dad. This is a shock to me, and I just seen her at her dads funeral and spoke with her when she arrived back home. Vickie had a loving spirit and she loved her family, I will miss my friend, Marie Bennett Harmon and The Bennett Family

My condolences to you Mary, Jessica and Christopher. Praying for comfort for you all in the days to come. Your mom was a giving and kind person and a very special friend in so many ways. I will never forget the time she let me in on a surprise that I had no clue about. She told me I was pregnant with Tori and that I needed to go confirm that. She was right the doctor confirmed her diagnosis for my life.

I was the Mike's Place Program Manager for a brief time and Vickie was so amazing with the folks and gave so much love. I know it came back to her from them (and from me) 10 times over -- in the process, we shared so many laughs. Sending big love to her family.
