Veronica Wilson, age 60

Of Ronkonkoma New York, passed away Sunday 8/14/2022.

She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York till the age of 12, then her family relocated to Long Island, NY were she spent the remainder of her childhood and life.

A mother and home keeper she loved the holidays especially the fall, she enjoyed celebration of all kinds.

Known fondly as Ronnie by her friends and family, she was a loving kind and funny person. In her youth she was very athletic enjoyed sports and the outdoors, especially the beach. She loved to laugh and making others laugh. She lived a simple life and enjoyed sharing the little bit of anything she had with others.

Veronica dedicated her life to her husband and children, she enjoyed cooking homemade meals and Italian food. She was a proud and affectionate grandmother that loved to play with and spoil her grand babies.

Daughter of Richard Von Voigt and Catherine Rose Von Voigt.

The wife and lifetime partner to Bruce Norman Wilson Sr.

Mother to Bruce Norman Wilson Jr. (Kateri Wilson), Jonathan Carl Wilson, Joseph Michael Wilson (Marissa Wilson).

Grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren Kayla Wilson, Gabriel Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Juliana Wilson, Gianna Wilson and Aurora Wilson.

Sister to Richard Von Voigt, Theresa Morton, Kenny Von Voigt, Kathy Trueson and the late Thomas Von Voigt.

Aunt to many nieces and nephews she leaves behind a large extended family and many that loved her.

Visiting hours are omitted. A small private ceremony for immediate family only is being held at this time. The family is asking for prayers and positive thoughts during this extremely difficult time.
