Veronica Lynn Halverson 53 of Smyrna Delaware , passed away on 02/04/2022 after a long battle with heart failure . Veronica was born on 09/13/1968 to Phyllis & Frank Nilan  in Upper Darby Pennsylvania . Veronica then resided and went to school in Lester Pennsylvania.After graduating from Interboro Senior High school in Prospect Park Pennsylvania she landed her first job at Main line Embroidery In Essington Pennsylvania and worked there a short time as a machine operator until she decided to take a job as a cashier/supervisor at Colonial Airport Parking in Essington Pennsylvania for 10 years, After Veronica moved with her husband to Delaware she worked at Dover Downs Casino for 22+ years as a Floor Attendant. Over the years working with the public many people always commenting on how friendly and caring Veronica was. 

 In 1979 Veronica met her future Husband Howard William Halverson in 4th grade, they were friends thru school and started dating in there Junior year of highschool, shortly after graduation they moved in together and they wed in June 25 , 1994, going on to have 1 daughter Katelyn Renee Halverson , Veronica loved animals , country music, going to concerts , and playing slot machines from time to time . Veronica  was predeceased by her mother Phyllis Nilan and her sister Ranee Boyd  .  She is survived by her husband Howard W Halverson, daughter Katelyn R Halverson, Father Frank Nilan, Sister Tina (Greg) Laskowski, Sister Valerie (Charlie) Boyd, Brother Joe (Mary) Nilan, Niece Chrissy Rowan, Nephew Tubby Rowan, Nephew Joe (Bo) Nilan, Niece Amanda Nilan, Niece MarIsh Nilan, Niece Shelby Laskowski, Niece Holley Laskowski, Mother In Law Carol A Deemer
