She survived by her grandchildren, Chantel Angel, Victoria Angel, Raquel Esquibel, Michelle Esquibel, Ariana Griego, Landon Griego, Jocylyn Griego, Paul Rey, and Trish Marquez. Veronica was married to the love of her life, Louie Gurule, for 51 years. Veronica leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion. She was a pillar of strength, her spirit unyielding and her work ethic unmatched. Veronica was a loving and generous soul, her warmth and kindness touching the lives of many. And her love for her dogs, chickens, and all her animals was as vast as her heart, their presence bringing her immense joy and solace.
Veronica's life lessons were simple yet powerful. She taught us to love Christ, showing us the way to a life of faith and devotion. She showed us the value of hard work, instilling in us the importance of dedication and determination. Most importantly, she showed us how to be great parents; her love for her family never wavered, her commitment to them never faltered.
Veronica's greatest accomplishments were her family and her home. She took immense pride in her marriage and her children, their happiness and well-being her top priority. The home she built was more than just a house; it was a sanctuary filled with love and warmth. And her yard was her pride and joy, a testament to her passion for nature and her keen eye for beauty. But it was her love for her grandchildren that shone the brightest, their presence filling her life with immeasurable joy and pride.
Veronica's legacy is a family devoted to Christ, her faith serving as the cornerstone of their lives. She will be missed dearly not only by her family and friends but also by the animals she adored. We take solace in knowing that she is now at home with the Lord, her love and spirit forever living on in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life for Veronica will be held on November 19, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Citizen Church with a reception to follow. It will be a time to remember and celebrate the remarkable life she lived, her memory forever etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, Veronica, until we meet again.
