Vern,

I remember the time you visited Kuala Lumpur. It is the very first time I met you. I’ve always heard about your name from my siblings during their time in Los Angeles.

Fast forward a few years, I moved to the west coast and I remember you and Jeff hosting me at your place during covid period, and when me and my wife were making our trip down to San Diego. It was a great moment to get to spend time with someone close.

To this day, I am still amazed about the big bottle of Vodka you finished in one night.

Thank you for the jokes and interesting facts you’ve shared.

May all the pain you have endured for the past years be freed, and rest well.

My wife and I will miss you dearly.

We will be forever be grateful for those moments you’ve shared with us.

We will miss you deeply—especially your jokes and the laughter you brought to all of us.
