Vernon Martin passed away on March 14, 2026 in Los Angeles at age 68.
Vernon had been a commercial real estate appraiser since 1984 and had appraised real estate in 42 U.S. States, 4 Canadian provinces and 20 foreign countries. He served as the Vice President for Appraisal Quality Control as well as Chief Commercial Appraiser at Home Savings of America (then the largest S&L) and two other national lenders, and was a former instructor …
