Vernon's obituary
Vernon T. Brendel, 87 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away January 6, 2026.
Born in Looking Glass township, Illinois on September 9, 1938, the son of the late Vince and Vera (Hilmes) Brendel.
He is survived by his children Sherry (Becky) Brendel and Glenn (Kelly) Brendel and his sister Nancy (Gerry) Eversgerd.
Besides his parents, Vernon was preceded by sister, Viola Bailey and brother, Melvin Brendel.
Per his wishes he was cremated and there was no service.
