Vera Webster (nee Alexander), of Marina Del Rey, California, died on October 21, 2022. Vera was the eldest child of Mercedes Jones (nee Solera) of Heredia, Costa Rica, and Frederick Alexander of Campbellton,New Brunswick, Canada. Vera is survived by her brothers Frederick Alexander, and Alexander "Eddie" Alexander, and her sisters Sonia Warren (nee Alexander) & Lucy Johnson (nee Alexander) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Vera loved her home of Marina Del Rey, and spent her entire adult life enjoying the weather and unique spark of Los Angeles. She was a socialite and she loved the finer things. She told great stories about meeting and working with celebrities. She appeared as an extra in countless movies, including Gremlins 2 and Pretty Woman. She had a speaking part and a credit as "office worker" in the 1989 film "Who's Harry Crumb?". She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
She was a vegetarian, and some might say, a "health nut". Prior to the health struggles of her final years, Vera could be found working out in the gym at Marina Del Rey, and taking daily walks on the shore. She will be dearly missed by friends and family.
