Vera Fink, 92, of Arcola, IL passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL with her family by her side.

In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated. A private family service will be held with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be given to Community Support Systems or to the donor’s choice.

Vera was born May 9, 1930 in Neoga, IL, the daughter of Rev. Howard and Edna Craig. She married Robert Fink on February 3, 1956 at the Lutheran church in Campbell Hill. Vera possessed a generous heart and helped anyone she could. She spent most of her life supporting her family and various charities for the underprivileged. She left a huge imprint on many lives and will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Fink of Arcola; four children: Shannon Craig of Mattoon, Tanya (Shannon) Marshall of Arcola, Robert Fink II of Peoria and Dylan Butler of Windsor; five grandchildren: CJ, Gavyn, Jaxx, Andy and Keegan; eight siblings: Genean Hendrix of Windsor, Ellis (Pauline) Craig of Windsor, Sandy (Jack) McGovern of Pana, Kalea (Jim) Turner of Clarksville, TN, Rick (Sheila) Fritts of Windsor, Steve (Margaret) Fritts of Stewardson, Linda (John) Allen of Farina and Joyce Richeson of Decatur and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers John and Jim Craig, and infant brother, Kenneth Craig.
