When I was younger, living in Lancaster, I was friends with the Morga children. I especially considered Fransisco a close friend. 

We would exchange sleepovers between my house and their house and we would go to birthday parties (most memorably my ninth one in 1982) and trade comic book stories, especially X-Men. I found them to be kindred spirits.

Venancio was a quiet man and a loving father. I remember him as a good listener and a calm presence. Solid and soulful. He his wife were completely devoted to their children and Venancio specifically was an influence on me on quiet strength, especially as a parent.

My continuing condolences to the Morga family who were a huge part of my life even if they might not have known it.
