Vellettia Louise Alverson—known affectionately as Vet to many and Granny Mam to those who loved her most—passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 31, 2025, just days before her 76th birthday.
Born on September 10, 1949 to Marjorie Ellen Louise and Gene Ball, Vet lived a life of deep faith, boundless generosity, and unshakable joy. She walked closely with Jesus, and her life was a beautiful reflection of His love. If you met …
