In boot camp I made a list of all the foods I wanted to try when I went home. The first thing on the list was in n out, but everything else was a home cooked meal from Grandma Velia. She made every single one for me. She was always supportive of her grandkids and loved to serve. There was never a moment I can think of where my grandmother didnโ€™t have a smile or was laughing with us.
