It's been difficult to write my feelings about Velia's passing. She was a constant figure in my childhood and the memories are endless. She loved life, she was energetic. As I type this, I smile remembering so many special moments. The big blue van.... geez..... it took us everywhere. The drop offs at the beach... the San Jose evenings. To her children, my heart breaks to think of your pain. I pray that God gives you the strength to get through this difficult time. I love you all with all my heart. Always, Rosa.
