Vasna (Tiem) was born in Bangkok, Thailand on December 12, 1960. The youngest of 10 children, she was a quiet, obedient child who was closest to her youngest sisters and her father while growing up. In 1981, at the young age of 17, without ever being away from her family and without knowing any English her family asked her to help her older sister Duangta (Tuke) take care of her two young children in Wyoming. …
