I was a guest in the Thomas home in the summer of 2009, while attending the Ellettsville Church of Christ preacher training program in Indiana. Vanessa was a very beautiful and kind soul and took care of me well. She will be deeply missed, but I look forward to the reunion in heaven at the day of judgment.

I was [ how you felt ] when I heard the news of Vanessa's passing.

I met Doug in the Fall of 1981 at FC and though Vanessa had left school by then, Doug talked to me about her and his plans to marry her. I met her in the next couple of years and she was a sweet and kind lady. I remember eating with them and being in their home and the kindness that they all showed. It was a blessing to have their children in my classes as students. May the LORD bless Doug and their four children as they mourn the death of Vanessa the most.

I had the privilege of meeting her a few times. She was a very sweet Christian. I am very sorry for your loss.
